Voice of Charlie Brown arrested on felony stalking charges | San Diego Jail


SAN DIEGO JAIL - Peter Robbins, the voice of Charlie Brown was arrested and in custody at the San Diego Jail.  on stalking and making criminals threats. He was arrested and taken to the San Diego Jail Wednesday on one count of felony stalking and four other felony counts of making criminal threats. Mr. Robbins lives in Oceanside Ca according to 10News
Robbins was arrested and booked using the San Diego Jail booking and arrest process around 3:30 a.m. Monday morning and held on $550,000 bail bond, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.  The arraignment for the 56-year-old is scheduled for Wednesday afternoon in felony arraignment court Department 12 at 1:30 pm

Peter Robbins was arrested Sunday evening at the San Ysidro Port of Entry where all the Hispanics and illegal drugs flood into the USA.
According to CBSnews.com, he was driving a gray Mercedes-Benz C230 when a US customs border officer sent him to an area for further inspection after the initial screening.
Peter Robbins who was by himself and arrested after officers learned he was wanted by the San Diego County Sheriff's Department on a Felony warrant. The San Diego felony warrant was for crimes against a person and making felony criminal threats. He was transported to the San Diego Jail on 1170 Front Street, San Diego Ca 92101 several hours later. It’s not clear how long the arrest warrant for out for.
Robbins was only 9 years old when he started doing the voice of Charlie Brown for such films and television specials as "A Boy Named Charlie Brown," "A Charlie Brown Christmas," and "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown."
Since his bail bond is extremely high, his public defender or private criminal defense attorney will ask for a bail reduction at the bail bond review hearing.  If a San Diego bail bond is not posted for Peter Robbins, then he will be taken back to the San Diego County Jail to stay until all his court dates are finished.

  1. Wow, that's unfortunate. This is almost on the same scale as when Paul Reubens (aka Pee-wee Herman) was arrested. Very sad.
